Doric hexastyle building with 11 columns on the sides, architect: Theodotus. It had pedimental sculpture by Timotheos, including acroteria in the form of small statues. The expense accounts for the construction of this temple have survived.
(Picture: The ruins of the temple’s foundations are in the foreground. The columns are part of the Stoa of the Sick and mark an area dedicated to Asclepius.)
